A tradition in late night mexican cuisine. Many people contend that bacon wrapped hot dogs were invented in the US, however I think the mexican version is the best and honestly all the people I see on the streets cooking these happen to be mexican. A lot of my gringo friends who would back me up on that one.
Usually these bacon wrapped hot dogs are topped with grilled onions and jalapeños, mayo, mustard and ketchup. Some places in Mexico though, will have more options like pico de gallo, potato chips, salsa verde, roja, chipotle peppers or cheese.
Soak that alcohol baby.
